Nicole
Nicole grew up in a village near Osnabrück, Germany, with her family’s roots in Russia and Kazakhstan. She has always loved being creative, which is why she never imagined she would one day work in finance. Her passion for travel led her to spend a year as an au pair in Washington, D.C., right after high school. Little did she know that this adventure would eventually lead her to meeting her future husband.
Ettiene
Ettiene grew up in South Africa and is proudly Afrikaans. He has always loved tech and enjoys fishing, working on cars, and having braais with friends and family. He had always thought about moving to Europe, but he never expected to meet someone from Germany. During the Covid pandemic, he packed up his things in just a few days and moved to Germany to be with her. Together, they later moved to the Netherlands.
